Birger is in Suzhou and he’s been in China for 7 years and he is a big fan of peated single malt whiskies. A true whisky lover, Birger also hosts a monthly whisky social in Suzhou with other whisky lovers.
Terri Lightfoot
Terri lives in Reno, Nevada, USA and enjoys small batch, cask strength whiskies with sherry and rum cask maturations.
Marc De Beer
Marc is based in Sanya and is something of a China veteran, having spent 11 of the last 20 years here. Marc loves heavily peated whiskies from Islay.
Queenie Chiu
Queenie has always lived in China, and is actually a near neighbour to our site as she lives in Longyan. Queenie has been enjoying whisky for the last 10 years and enjoys sherry cask matured Speyside whiskies.
Rabbi Kuty
Rabbi Kuty has been in China for 9 years and is based in Ningbo. He prefers ex-bourbon cask matured Speyside whiskies.
Jahye Lee
Jahye is based in Beijing and has been in China for almost 5 years. Originally from Korea, Jahye is another Speyside fan and also enjoys a good sherry cask matured whisky.
Augustine Lung
Augustine is originally from Hong Kong but has been living in Shanghai since 2006. He enjoys Scotch from the Lowlands region, and also enjoys bourbon.
Robin Chen
Robin is based in Shanghai and has always lived in China. Robin enjoys the breadth of offerings from Speyside but mixes it up occasionally with some Islay whiskies and the occasional bottle of American rye whiskey.
Adam Schlipf
Adam has been in China for the last decade and is based in Shanghai. In his opinion, whisky is far too broad a subject and has far too many good drinks to be able to pick one single style or brand.
