We’re not the first distillery in the world to be funded by enthusiasts. There are many projects that have something of an organic and grass roots foundation. Micro-investors and community funded projects are actually quite a common occurrence. Where we are different is that everyone that has invested in our project actually gets involved.

Despite the fact that barley is one of the 3 ingredients needed to make whisky, it’s regarded as a generic commodity and simply as a source of starches that need to be converted into sugars, to fuel the hunger of yeast during fermentation.
